Psalm 17

A Song for My Friend

Hallowed and eternal,
Light without an end,
Sacred rock of peace,
Please bring some to my friend.

His ship has lost its anchor,
But his faith remains unmoved,
Please take him in your favor,
And hold him in Your truth. 

Oh G-d please break this storm! 
And let his rivers calm,
Bring peace back to his heart,
And let him sing his song.
