Lonely is the Mountain, That grows in broken hearts, Calloused is the skin, That hides a million scars. Hollow is the Promise, Of those that Pleasure Seek, One who values nothing, Will give his words for cheap. Crying are the Eyes, That have seen these things before, A Holocaust through time, In a world of Jewish Gore. Burning are the Ears, That still can hear the Screams, Of all those Jewish children, Who were not allowed to dream. Ripped away from Mothers, Murdered in their cribs, A world that said, “Never Again,” Let it happen to their Kids. Aching is the Back, Of one who carries Truth, Up a Lonely Mountain, In a land that corrupts its youth. Of People I had known, Or thought that I used too, How apart we’ve grown, Because I’m proud to be a Jew. I’m proud to be a Jew, In a world that’s filled with hate, The cheapness of their words, Is what makes ours so great. Lonely is the Mountain, Onto which G-d brought His People, Painful has the Journey been, On This Road to Conquer Evil.
