Do you have a reference for the meaning of the word "Hamas" that you have written here? I'm curious about this usage.

Yes, the line is in Genesis 6:11. There are different possible translations of “Hamas,” and I believe it is Targum Onkelos that translates it as “kidnapping.” I heard a lecture about it on Torah Anytime, but here is another source that discusses it: http://lavlor.blogspot.com/2014/07/hamas.html?m=1
