Thanks for this. One question: Are you sure that the New York times actually went so far as to "pay photographers to embed themselves in Hamas on the day of the terror attacks"?
Is that accurate?
I understand that a freelancer who had previously worked for the Times did embed himself with Hamas on the day of the attacks, but how could he have done that with the knowleldge of the Times if the attacks themselves were a surprise?
Would it be more accurate to say that the freelancer embedded himself with Hamas and later offered to sell his photos to the Times?
If so, that is not the same as saying that the Times paid him to embed himself and take the photos.
Thank you for this clarification. I have edited the post and included a link to the Times' own response to the accusations about the photographer in question.
Personally, I think their defense is just as damning as the accusation. One of the things they say towards the end of the defense is:
"It is not the first time that Honest Reporting has raised questions about a freelance employee of The Times from Gaza. Soliman Hijjy, a freelance filmmaker who recently contributed a video report on the bombing of Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, came under criticism for a post on Facebook in 2012 in which he shared a meme that appeared to praise Adolf Hitler."
It seems like the Times is aware of the situation with their freelancers in Gaza, but they just don't care.
Soon , Like Netanyahu, you'll be absolving hitler from the atrocities of the Holocaust and blaming iit on Islam and your only proof is a photo of the Jerusalem Mufti with hitler. The rest of Hitler interactions with the rest is all but forgotten.
Adolf Hitler held meetings or discussions with several Western leaders before and during World War II. Among the notable meetings were the Munich Conference in 1938, attended by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, French Premier Édouard Daladier, Italian leader Benito Mussolini, and Hitler. This conference resulted in the signing of the Munich Agreement, allowing Nazi Germany's annexation of the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia.
Additionally, there were various diplomatic interactions and attempts at negotiations between Western powers and Nazi Germany before the outbreak of the war. These interactions aimed to prevent conflict and find diplomatic solutions to the rising tensions in Europe. But it is the season of Islamophbia Deranged Disorder, so why not just flow the crowd! Shameless!

Really. And they just rehired Hijjy, just in time for him to participate in disseminating the Hamas lie about the Baptist Hospital explosion.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Great post
