A Man Alone

I am a man alone, 
But this, I do not mind, 
For on G-d’s sacred throne, 
Is a lonesomeness divine. 

One who stands apart, 
From a group of all his peers, 
Alone can find the holy spark, 
That groups have always feared. 

For G-d speaks with the lonely, 
Like Moshe and Avram, 
So something must be Holy, 
About the lonely ones. 

I am a man alone, 
That is my greatest pride, 
How big my soul has grown,
Being nourished from inside. 

So I will stand apart, 
And let my soul expand, 
Until it tames my heart, 
To follow G-d’s command.
