A Decade of Darkness
A decade of darkness, A decade of lies, A decade where Truth, Must learn how to hide. A decade of violence, A decade of crime, A decade of blindness, From closing the eyes. A decade of fools, A decade of shame, A decade of problems, With no one to blame. A decade of cowards, Of men without names, A decade of children, Running the game. A decade of drinking, A decade of vice, Devoid of all virtue, Except looking nice. A decade of shouting, A decade of screaming, A decade of hatred, And the absence of feeling. Where did this come from? And where do we go? How did this darkness, Slip under our nose? Where is our wisdom? Where are the wise? Who let these children? Run our whole lives? A decade online, Ten years we have spent, Melting our eyes, Now can we repent? To turn back the tide, To shore up the truth, To take back our lives, And save all our youth? A decade of darkness, A decade of lies, Can only be fixed, By a decade of light. Cast out your phones, Banish your apps, Rebuke all the drones, Who speak without facts. A great rebuke is coming, Of those who spurn the Lord, Men who do not heed the pen, Will one day meet the sword.

We are living in dark times, and we need to spread light wherever we can.
